HPCL is
recruiting candidates for various posts such as Mechanical Engineer, Electrical
Engineer, Instrumentation Engineer, Civil Engineer, Chemical Engineer,
Information Systems Officer, Safety Officer, Fire & Safety Officer, Quality
Control Officer, Blending Officer, Chartered Accountant, HR Officer, Welfare
Officer, Law Officer and Manager/ Sr. Manager.

Engineer:
The applicant should have 4 years full time engineering course in relevant
field.
Information
Systems Officer: The applicant should have a 4 years full time engineering
course in Computer Science / IT Engineering
Safety Officer:
The should have a 4 years full time engineering degree in Mechanical/ Civil/
Instrumentation/ Electrical/ Chemical.
A degree
or diploma in Industrial Safety recognized by the concerned State Government
for the purpose of appointment as Safety Officer as per their respective state
factory rules.
The
applicant must have proper knowledge of Hindi language.
Fire
& Safety Officer: The applicant should have a full time B.E./ B.Tech. in
Fire or Fire & Safety Engineering .
The
candidate should possess a full time Diploma or Certificate in Industrial
Safety or equivalent of duration not less than one year awarded by any
University incorporated under the Central or State legislations or Department
of Technical Education or Board of Technical Education of any State/ Government
of India or from Regional Labour Institute or Central Labour Institute.
The candidate
must have proper knowledge of Marathi language.
Quality
Control Officer: The applicant should have 2 years full time M.Sc. In Chemistry
(Analytical / Physical/ Organic/ Inorganic ) with 3 years of experience in
relevant field.
Blending
Officer: The applicant should have 2 years full time M.Sc. In Chemistry
(Analytical/ Physical/ Organic/ Inorganic) and 3 years of experience.
Chartered
Accountant: The applicant should be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) along with completion of
mandatory articleship and Membership of ICAI.
HR Officer:
The applicant should have a 2 full time Post Graduate Degree/ Similar course in
HR/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Psychology or MBA with
specialization in HR/ Personnel Management.
Welfare
Officer Visakh Refinery: The Applicant should be a Graduate in Arts/ Science/
Commerce or in Law of any university.
A Post
Graduate Degree or Diploma covering Labour Legislations with case Law,
Industrial Relations, Personnel Management, HRM and other allied subjects with
Labour Welfare, as special subject, of not less than two years duration,
conducted by a University of the State of Andhra Pradesh or recognized by Govt.
of Andhra Pradesh.
The
candidate should have adequate knowledge of Telugu Language.
Welfare Officer,
Mumbai Refinery: The candidate should be a Graduate or posses Diploma in Social
Science recognized by State Government of Maharashtra .
The candidate
should have adequate knowledge of Marathi Language.
Law
Officer: The applicant should have 3 years full time degree in law after
graduation or 5 years integrated course with 1 year experience.
Manager/
Sr. Manager, Electrical: The applicant should have a 4 years full time regular

HPCL is recruiting: Selection Procedure
The
selection procedure consists of many shortlisting and selection tools like
Computer Bas Test, Group Task, Personal Interview, Moot court (only for Law
Officers) etc. All the applicants who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be
informed for CBT.
HPCL is recruiting: Exam Pattern
The exam
will conducted on computer which will consist multiple choice questions with no
negative marking. The exam will have two parts:
General
Aptitude Section
English Language
Quantitative Aptitude Test
Intellectual Potential Test (Logical
Reasoning and Data Interpretation).
Technical/
Professional Knowledge section will consist question related to degree program/
educational background as per application for the applied post.

Unreserved,
OBC Non Creamy and EWS applicants will have to pay an amount ₹ 1180 excluding gateway
charges if any. The applicants belonging to SC, ST and PWD category need not to
pay any amount.
