Responsibilities

• Manage a customer issue by effectively diagnosing, resolving, or implementing new investigation tools to increase productivity in resolving customer issues with Google Cloud Platform products.

• Develop a deep understanding of Google product technology and underlying architecture by troubleshooting, reproducing, determining the root cause of customer-reported issues, and building faster diagnostic tools to quickly identify and resolve future issues.

• Act as a consultant and subject matter expert to internal stakeholders in engineering, sales, and customer organizations to resolve technical barriers to deployment and improve Google Cloud.

• Work closely with multiple products and engineering teams to find ways to improve support, and products and interact with our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to ensure high-quality production.

• Work as part of a team of engineers/consultants providing 24/7 customer support globally.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.

• Try reading or debugging code using Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, Perl, or JavaScript.

• Experience advocating for customer needs.
