Summary of work

Amazon's operations team is looking for highly motivated and talented candidates to be involved in the audit/review of ads and search results. The ideal candidate must demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. In addition, the candidate must be proficient in both written and verbal English with strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. Candidate should be flexible to work night/rotational shifts assigned as per process requirements. Candidate should be comfortable working on sensitive content - adult content, nudity, political, religious, alcohol, tobacco.

The minimum required qualification is a bachelor's degree with relevant proof of education

 i.e. consolidated mark sheet, commission certificate and course completion certificate.

it is a work from home opportunity and it is mandatory for applicants to either reside or relocate to the mentioned locations i.e. Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh/NCR and work only from around the said location.

Main responsibilities include:

1. Review of an ecological product

  • Check the relevance between the search query and green products based on the content guidelines.
  • Check in detail for relevance with quality and accuracy.
  • Analyze data and evaluate trends/patterns.
  • Recommend a general pattern for translation into rules.
  • Willingness to work with sensitive issues, including but not limited to adult content, religious and philosophically sensitive issues.

2. Training and coaching

  • Coordination of training and mentoring sessions
  • Regularly inspecting the work of newly hired employees (under the guidance of a supervisor) and providing ongoing feedback during the initial training phase.
  • Develop training material for the team and lead training and development of the team.

3. Maintaining updates and documentation and tracking workflow

  • Escalation of questions/issues from the team regarding the process and cascading updates to the team.
  • Preparation and maintenance of training documents, update wiki pages, SOPs and other documents.
  • Preparing weekly process reports and sending them to affected people.
  • Monitoring workflows and reassignments within the team and resolving shift issues, daily outages, updates and escalations.

4. Preferred Skills

  • Requires strong computer skills, Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point and Word) to manage reports and metrics.
  • Should be flexible to work night shifts and rotating weeks off.
  • knowledge of online retail (e-commerce).
  • Good background in web searching and knowledge of different ways of searching for information.

5. Preferred language

  • Knowledge of English. The candidate must demonstrate language skills in all of the following areas: verbal, writing, reading and comprehension.

Qualification preferred

  • Advanced computer skills using a variety of programs highly desirable.
  • Previous online advertising experience preferred.
