Qualifications   

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other technical fields.

6 months of experience in IT or a related technical field (eg personal projects, coding languages, operating systems, building computers/apps, volunteering with STEM organizations, etc.).

Experience in customer service positions.

Ability to speak and write English fluently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience critical thinking and problem-solving.

Interest in or experience with technology.

Ability to work on ambiguous tasks, find appropriate solutions, and seek help/advice when needed.

Ability to take initiative and operate unassisted and as part of a group.

Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Train in the network, infrastructure, and multi-platform system management and develop additional skills through experience in communications technology (video and voice), hardware, mobile devices, and project management.

Help support internal infrastructure by escalating issues to appropriate teams.

Attend required training and attend mentoring sessions as indicated.

Help support internal staff in all their IT needs across multiple platforms (eg ChromeOS, Linux, iOS, Android, etc.).
